Frequently Asked Questions

The OSHA 30-Hour Construction is an online safety training program that educates participants on essential site safety knowledge, awareness, and skills required to ensure workplace safety and OSHA compliance. Anyone who is involved in construction-related jobs or activities can participate in this training.

It requires a minimum of four days to complete.

It covers essential safety topics that comply with OSHA 29 CFR including but not limited to scaffold safety, forklift safety, lockout/tagout, personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard communication, and many more.

Although all construction workers don’t need to acquire OSHA 30-Hour Construction training, since most reputable industries in the construction sector and jurisdictions in the United States require employees to obtain an OSHA/DOL card, construction workers should get adequate training.

Upon completing the training, construction workers will be able to identify, prevent, and control potential hazards in the workplace, keeping personnel and work environment safe. In addition, since most employers prefer workers with OSHA safety training, the workers with OSHA 30 Card will be given preference.
